How To Get Shells
Shells are the currency used by Varisatyrs. They can be used to buy different items (as seen in the #item-shop channel) or to buy tickets ( ike in the #ticket-shop channel).
So, what are some ways you can get shells them?
Currently, there are only TWO main ways to get shells in the server; exploring and drawing. There are also a few other less-common ways to get shells also briefly outlined.
EXPLORING:
DRAWING:
Exploring can happen in the "fields-of-clouds" channel for those without a registered Varisatyrs, or in "mountains", "forest", "moorlands", "beaches", or "ocean" for those with a registered Varisatyr.
To explore, say "@Explore!", and wait for moderators to randomly select what you find!
These are chances of finding items of different rarities:
🟢= Common | Sells for 2 Shells | 53% Chance
🟡= Uncommon | Sells for 5 Shells | 31% Chance
🔵= Rare | Sells for 10 Shells | 14% Chance
🟣= Ultra Rare | Sells for 20 Shells | 2% Chance

Exploring "fields-of-clouds" will yield items that can ONLY be used for shells. Exploring in the other areas can yield items that can be used for other purposes.

You can explore any given chat every 6 hours, except for "fields-of-clouds", which can be explored every 2 hours! (That's why there is slow-mode on the explore chats.)
Items that you receive will be placed in your inventory, which you can see from a document in the pinned of the #items channel!
You can then sell or trade your items for Shells in the #items channel. Check pinned there for exactly how!
Drawing is the other main method of shell-making.
By drawing any art relating to Varisatyrs or their lore and world, you can get shells!
To do this, draw your art and send it in the "varisatyr-art" channel, along with the IDs of the varisatyrs used (IDs are based off the ticket number used for a varisatyr, and can be found in a document pinned in masterlist)!
Then, a moderator will calculate how many shells you gain roughly based on how much effort it took. The exact way its calculated can be seen below:

Be careful! Some actions, like sending art in a different chat before your Varisatyr is registered can prevent you from getting shells.
OTHER METHODS:
There are also other less reliable ways of getting a few shells!

Server Boosting. If you have discord nitro, you can boost the Varisatyr server! For every server boost, the user gets 500 shells!

Events. You can also get shells from server events, which will come around every once in a while.

Receiving from Others. One way many can get shells quickly is by getting sent shells by others! Some people will post commissions or trade requests in the #buy-trade-and-sell chat on the discord.

Blue Blind Bags. If you're lucky, you can get a blue bag from a friend, event, or prize. Blue blind bags will give you between 1-1000 shells randomly.

Noticing an Error. If you notice a critical error, such as not responding to an explore, a typo in announcements, or not updating a profile's shells. This will give you 10 Shells!

Modding. As a tracker mod, you can get one shell per one explore you do! Mods get paid for the prior month on the first of the following month.
