What is a Varisatyr?
Varisatyrs are human-like creatures with animal ears, fur, tails, feet, etc., usually with traits usually resembling cattle, sheep, and goats. Varisatyrs live on an island in a universe alternate to earth, though there are still humans living with them. For more background information, feel free to look in lore! Culture Overview
Varisatyrs are an ancient culture living during the human 19th century.
Varisatyrs put heavy emphasis on family, loyalty, and trust. They are a relatively collectivist culture, and most Varisatyrs are highly religious.
Varisatyrs also have a lot of equality in their culture as opposed to the human world, with most Varisatyrs being close economic class, having very few differing gender roles, and often striving to be "the same" to each other so as not to seem like anyone else is "beneath" them.

Religion Overview
Varisatyr religion ("Futism") is a monotheistic religion whose god is the moon itself.
Varisatyrs have weddings, funerals, and other ceremonies that are dependent on Futism, and measure their ages based on the moon cycle.
Because of their religious beliefs, many Varisatyrs see deer trait Varisatyrs as sacred, and that Varisatyrs born with powers (ethereals) are blessed by the moon.
Every full moon, Varisatyrs also believe that they will be given great gifts, and will preform many ceremonies during this time.

Island Overview
Varisatyrs live on an island off the coast of the only known continent (and its islands) in their world, Omnilandia. This island is called Rester, and is shaped like a crescent moon.
There is a single village on Rester where the Varisatyrs and a few of their human friends live. Half the Village is inside the caves of a mountain, and the rest is placed within a field and forest outside the mountain range.

History Summary
Varisatyrs are considered some of the oldest civilized species in their world, and originally ruled a large chunk of territory in Omnilandia, with multiple villages covering much of the west side of the country.
Unfortunately, during a war with other species, their population was significantly thinned down, and they were forced to only live on Rester, a tiny western island.

How do I get started in the server?
What you do next in the server is your own choice!
It is recommended to look into the other channels in the guide.
Most people will learn about how to get shells and how to make a Varisatyr.
To quickly summarize, you can ping "@explore" in the #⛅fields-of-clouds⛅ channel in the discord server. This will get you an item, which you can then sell in the items chat to get shells (the currency). You may also draw art related to Varisatyrs and submit it for shells too. Getting shells can be read about more in the "how to get shells" section of the guide.
You can use shells to do lots of things, but most people focus on getting more tickets for their future Varisatyr. You already have an MYO and one rare ticket just for joining the server.
