RULES

#VARISATYR-ART RULES:
Quick disclosure: mods won't be pouring over every detail of the art, in most cases the only situation where your art will be denied is if it's glaringly obviously against the rules.
What to do when sending art:
1) Send the IDs of your Varisatyrs with your art
2) Censor it using "spoiler", if needed (this is only if there's sensitive content like needles, blood, abuse, etc.)
3) If you are sending an animation, SEND IT AS A GIF! Sending an mp4 with it to show music is ok! Keep in mind not to spam, though.
4) Make sure it agrees with the RULES BELOW:
WHAT ART IS AND IS NOT ALLOWED:
1) IMPORTANT: Only registered varisatyrs can be drawn. Unfortunately, "alternate version" and "alternate universe" that stray from canon is not allowed, but can still be sent in other-art. (This includes previously registered, killed, and younger/older satyr versions).
a) If art isn't close enough to what the character looks like in the masterlist (different clothes and colors are fine) it won't be accepted! Be careful!
b) An exception to this rule is art where the character is killed. To wipe a ticket you need to draw art like this and submit it. However, any depiction of dead varisatyrs are not allowed.
2) Don't send more than three images in a row (AKA before a mod responds to it, you'd be spamming)
3) Don't send WIPs in varisatyr-art! (Try not to send too many/too detailed varisatyr wips in general; it might get you in trouble for the below reason depending on the circumstances)
4) Deleting ANY art is extremely discouraged. Deleting art in other-art to post in varisatyr-art is STRICTLY forbidden and will not receive shells.
5) Do not send completed art in both varisatyr-art and other-art. Any art made before the server's existence is not allowed to be sent for shells.
6) Any art against the server rules is not allowed.
7) Traced PHOTOGRAPHS are allowed, but not traced art, unless its your own art. You MUST say the art is traced and provide the original source, otherwise, you are at risk for being kicked from the server due to stealing.
#BUY-TRADE-AND-SELL RULES:
1) In buy-trade-and-sell chat, ONLY send offers related to the server (like accepting shells for payment or selling an in-server item)
2) Try to keep chat unclogged! When you respond to a request in buy-trade-or-sell, use a thread (unless it requires only one or two messages of discussion)
3) DON'T SCAM ANYONE. It's very easy for a mod to find out if you do. If you're a buyer, be sure you have proof to show that you were scammed.
QUEST RULES
1) Quest art follows the SAME RULES as #varisatyr-art submission rules, unless otherwise specified.
2) Use your OWN VARISATYR in it! Other characters are allowed, but a Varisatyr you own must be included.
3) You cannot submit quest art with events for extra prizes, including monthly media.
4) If you are doing a written entry, send a google docs link, not a downloadable file! (Don't forget to click "share" on it so mods can see it!)
5) Dont forget to send ticket numbers AND what quest you're doing!
Other small guidelines:
1) For writing, the general rule is that all writing follows the same rules as art! The one expectation is you may use vague descriptions of non-canon characters, like talking about how your satyr's mom is beautiful with amber eyes, and allowing her to have dialogue. Don't write alternate versions of your satyr though (like AUs, younger and older, etc). Also, writing can only be used for quests or certain events.
2) To change your nickname, go to the #general-questions-and-suggestions channel and tell the mods what you want to change it to! You aren't allowed to change it otherwise.
2) To get your birthday registered in the server, go to #birthdays and send your birthday month and day! If you submit a day that is not your birthday you will be barred from birthday privileges! :(
3) To see #items guidelines (aka selling, trading, etc), go to the pinned. BE AWARE: A mod will still accept your request if you stray from the format, but if there's miscommunication because of the wording, then you don't get to reverse the action.
